What the FSR designation means for your job
A Field Safety Representative is the person a contractor must have in order to take out electrical permits and declare that an installation complies with the BC Electrical Code. A Class B FSR covers the range of residential and commercial work Skyvolt performs.
In practice, that is the difference between work that is inspected and documented and work that is simply done. It matters at resale, at insurance-claim time, and any time a building official, landlord, or general contractor asks who signed off on the installation.
