Privacy Policy
Draft pending legal review. This policy describes exactly what the current website does. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should be confirmed by Skyvolt Electrical Ltd, and updated, before launch.
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Skyvolt Electrical Ltd (“Skyvolt”, “we”, “us”) collects only the information needed to respond to a request for electrical work, quote and schedule that work, and operate this website. This policy applies to skyvolt.ca and the request forms on it.
Information we collect
When you submit a request form we collect the name, phone number, email address, the service you selected, the property type if you choose one, and any job details you write. Providing an email address is optional.
The website also records limited first-party context alongside your request: the page you submitted from, the page you first landed on, the referring website or campaign parameters in the link you followed, your browser user-agent string, screen and viewport size, language, time zone, the pages you viewed in that visit, and how long the visit had lasted. This information is held in your own browser’s local and session storage and is only transmitted when you submit a form. It is used to understand which marketing channels produce enquiries.
This website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, time on site, and the channel that brought you here. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to do this, and we have IP anonymization turned on. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not share Google Analytics data for ad personalization.
How we use information
- Respond to quote and service requests.
- Scope, schedule, and carry out requested electrical work.
- Send job-related text messages when you have separately agreed to receive them.
- Protect the website from spam, and understand where enquiries come from.
Text-message privacy
Providing a phone number does not by itself enrol you in SMS. We record SMS consent only when you actively select the separate consent checkbox on a request form. If you opt in, Skyvolt may send messages about your request, scheduling, and job updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Skyvolt does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Service providers
Website form submissions are delivered to our inbox by MailerSend, an email delivery provider, which processes the contents of your request in order to send that email. Once this site is published it will be hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard request information such as IP address in order to serve the website and protect it from abuse. Google Analytics (Google LLC) processes anonymized usage data as described above. These providers may use the information only to provide those services to Skyvolt.
How information is shared
Beyond the providers above, we do not sell or share your information. We may disclose information when required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Skyvolt, our customers, or others.
Data retention and security
We retain request information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, carry out and warranty the work, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. No online system is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations. To stop text messages, reply STOP. Clearing your browser storage removes the attribution context described above. For questions about this policy, email info@skyvolt.ca or call +1 604 375 0090.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted here with a new date.
